More Leads Won’t Fix a Broken Business
Pouring more demand into a leaking business only makes the leaks more expensive.
When revenue stalls, the first instinct is to find more leads. More ads, more outreach, more content at the top of the funnel.
Sometimes that is the answer. Often it isn’t. If enquiries go unanswered for days, if the offer is unclear, if follow-up depends on someone remembering, more leads will simply leak out faster.
Before you fill the vessel, check it for cracks.
Look at what happens after someone shows interest. How fast do they hear back? How clearly is the next step explained? How many conversations end without a decision, and why?
Fixing those moments is less exciting than a new campaign. It is usually cheaper, faster and more durable. Then, when more demand arrives, the business is ready to keep it.
